The final portion of my project was to rig Nomad. Which was a very in-depth process that involved heavy problem solving every step of the way. I essentially had to learn and relearn many aspects of the rigging pipeline to get this character moving. Big thanks to Gnomon Workshop's "Creature Rigging for Production" by Perry Leijten. It helped tremendously with the initial rigging portion of the character.
This was a passion project of mine for some time, it was a humbling labor of love and a true learning experience from start to finish.
I drew inspiration from many sources of entertainment such as Elysium, RoboCop, Assassins Creed, Star Wars. As well as some very talented designers and artists such as Nivanh Chanthara (Duster132) and Vitaly Bulgarov.
My goal for this project was to create an exosuit that did not destroy the silhouette of the human body, but compliment it's form. This came with a lot of complications, iterations on design, and study of the human range of motion.
Special thanks to all of my friends for their critiques and feedback every step of the way!
